Queerness and Hope
Zettie Shapey is from from Oak Park, Illinois and moved to Brooklyn a year ago to start a communal house and end the climate crisis.
"This zine is my baby-- it's a co-created anthology I started 6 years ago. Equal parts queer theory/affect theory/theory on hope, comic strips, collages, drawings, me being a nervous then-22-year-old with a big yearny heart, poetry, reflections on being gay and alive and hoping, reflections on being gay and alive and not hoping. I've added pretty backgrounds and a new forward/reflection on what's changed in the last 6 years (spoiler alert: now I am a 28-year-old with a big yearny heart). It's a whopping 50 pages, color. ***content warning: one piece talks about suicide.*** that piece has a content warning at the top." -Zettie
